OpenPSA (Open Professional Services Automation) is a management suite for software consultancies. It provides the following main features:

OpenPSA is developed on top of the MidCOM component framework. Aside from the applications listed above, all other MidCOM Components and libraries can be used in an OpenPSA site as well.

OpenPSA includes a system of creating relations between arbitrary objects (org.openpsa.relatedto), which among other things in provides wiki integration. Many MidCOM Services like MidCOM ACL and the RCS integration are included as well.

Installation

Starting from version 8.09.6, OpenPSA can be installed and configured directly from the Datagard command line. For manual installation instructions, see OpenPSA installation.

Version History

The original OpenPSA 1 application was the successor to Nemein.net and was written as a Midgard 1.0 application. Versions starting from OpenPSA 2 are based on MidCOM and MgdSchema and realise their functionality in MidCOM Components. The current release series is OpenPSA 8.09.
